Hey! North Coast Festival-goers! Pay attention, this stuff makes all of our lives easier and more enjoyable. Now follow the rules, enjoy the tunes, and have the time of your freakin’ life.  It’s time for Round 2.    See below and click here for a MAP of the festival.

1. All children 12 years and under will be admitted to the festival free of charge. Because North Coast believes the kids are our future and they deserve good live music too.
2. If you’re on the Will-Call/Guest-List, Click here for IMPORTANT WILL CALL INFORMATION!
3. After Parties for Everyone. To be fair, festival ticket buyers were offered the first crack at the limited spots at the After Parties. But with a few tickets left for each, these Afters are now open to the general public. Get Your Tickets Here!
4. Never Ending Sensory Input. The Chicago Reader Living Gallery is back, featuring graf walls and epic murals. Plus, body paint, overhead art installations, merch and food options for everyone, photo booths, hoopers, old hippies, babies with shooting range headhpones, ridiculous outfits, ridiculous people.
5. Don’t bring things that are obviously not allowed. Also don’t bring glowsticks, large lounge chairs, tents, knives or weapons, video or audio recording devices, professional cameras, pets, food, glass containers, beverages except for sealed water, and aerosol cans of ANY kind.
6. By all means, bring your digital cameras, phone or disposable cameras, fanny packs, purses, European carry-alls, school backpacks (will be searched), lawn chairs, blankets, hipster sunglasses, floppy hats, lighters, cigarettes, sun block, lip gloss, empty plastic containers, staffs/flag poles type items, umbrellas, binoculars, etc.
7. Members of the Media, North Coast is happy to have you. Collect your credentials on Ashland Ave south of the main entrance closer to Washington St. and record why everyone should come back next year with all of their friends.
   
8. If you still haven’t gotten your tickets, you must like playing with fire. A couple thousand of the 58k available tickets remain. And do we have to tell you what a bargain they still are at $50-$60?
9. Don’t forget to thank our partners, because without them, none of this would be possible. Map out your month with a few Groupons, but if you can’t find time to use them, head over to CouponTrade and swap them for another. Turn on some Last.fm or Grooveshark and chug a Red Bull, Dos Equis, Magic Hat, and Miller right in a row, but not while driving your Chevy. So before you head to the fest, throw your copies of the Redeye, Timeout Chicago, Chicago Reader, and Relix into your High Sierra backpack, and don’t forget to reserve a room at the Hard Rock or Inn at Lincoln Park. Because let’s be honest, hotel rooms are the best place to end a special occasion.

Will Call Information! North Coast “Experience” Enhanced! Thank You for Supporting Our Partners & Charities!

Valuable WILL CALL Information

Always thinking of our supporters first Coasties will have the chance to pick up their tickets from will call early.  Visiting Will Call on Thursday is highly recommended.  Here’s some valuable info for anyone headed to will call.

• Valid ID: All attendees, even those with hard tickets, should have a valid state or federally issued ID.
• Will Call location: Ashland Avenue between Lake and Washington, just south of the Main Entrance.
• Will Call hours:
  • Thursday: 3pm-9pm
  • Friday: 11am-9pm
  • Saturday: 11am-9pm
  • Sunday: 11am-9pm
  • Anyone picking up will call tickets will need a government issued ID that matches the name at Will Call to receive your tickets
• Groupon Will Call: Groupon buyers have a separate will call tent.  Your Groupon voucher will be scanned, and if valid, you will receive three single day passes.  In addition to your ID, bring the credit card you used for your purchase should there be issues.

• Expanded shaded area from the stretched-fabric environments created by Funktion Forms.  Is that a fish we are walking under?
• Don’t be surprised if you see Funktopuss, the boombox-sporting octopus, stilt-walkers and more curious characters roaming around fest grounds
• We’ve doubled the size of the Chicago Reader Living Gallery to include 20 of the most well-renowned graffiti artists from around the Midwest such as Revise CMW, CZR PRZ, Demon SB and more

NCMF thanks all our patrons for supporting our charities.  A portion of all ticket sales goes to our main non-profit partner, the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago, which helps this organization in promoting awareness of Latino Cultures through presenting art forms and education programming.  We are also happy to support Union Park Advisory Council, First Baptist Congregational Church, Women’s Treatment Center of Chicago, UNO JAMS, Intonation Music Workshop, Head Count, Gulf Restoration Network, The Institute for Arts Entrepreneurship, CHIRP Radio and the J Dilla Foundation. Festival ticket buyers were given time to get their late nights sorted out, and festival organizers thank them for supporting the fest first and foremost! But now, NCMF organizers invite the rest of the music-loving public to join us in late-night revelry!

Previously, patrons were required to purchase a ticket to the fest in order to buy tickets to North Coast after parties, but no more as we’ve opened the After Party purchases to the public. Join us!
